Active vacation in Valdres
Valdres is perfect for those who like to enjoy the peaceful mountains of Norway. You can go on nice hikes with your family or you can challenge yourself and climb the tallest mountain in Norway! We are happy to help you plan the perfect vacation in our area. You can hike to the top of Fjellenden, go fishing in a mountain lake or enjoy a concert in one of the old houses in Valdres Folkmuseum in Fagernes.
Summer in Aurdal Fjellpark
Summer is a wonderful time in the mountains. It is wonderful to sit by a mountain lake and listen to the birds singing. In the afternoon you can even try to catch a mountain trout for your evening meal! When summer comes we have a lot of marked hiking trails in our area. You can also rent a bike and try all the small mountain roads.
Bike rental
We have off-road bikes for rent in our reception. There are many nice and quiet mountain roads in our area that is perfect for bike tours. Large cabin
We have a large cabin that sleeps 26 persons. It is called "The view" It is situated at the top of the alpine slopes. This is the perfect place to bring the family together for fun activities in the beautiful mountains of Valdres.
